Larry Morgan

Larry Morgan, age 69 of Norwood, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Wood Glen Alzheimer's Community. He was born May 21, 1954 in Jellico, Tennessee the son of the late Chester and Margaret Morgan. Larry worked as a Cable Lineman for Time Warner for many years. Larry had a lifelong love of music and was a real talent. He could play any instrument but favored his guitar and he could play any song he heard. Larry had a green thumb and liked to plant flowers in his garden. He loved classic cars and motorcycles. He was an avid sports fan and followed the Bengals and the Reds. Larry had an active and curious mind and liked to learn new things like history and how different things work. He had a caring heart and always wanted to help those in need. What made him happiest was being a husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather. Larry will be missed by all who knew him.

Larry is survived by his Wife of 50 years, Loretta Morgan; Daughter, Kim (Jeff) Jehle; Sons, Larry Joseph (Beth) Morgan, and Shaun Michael Morgan; 7 Grandchildren; 9 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Sister, 2 Brothers, and by numerous other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his Parents and 1 Brother.

Memorial Donations may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton or to the Alzheimer's Association.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM, Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Centerville (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459).
