Larry J. Linder

Larry J. Linder, age 82, passed away on August 23, 2025 surrounded by family and friends. He was born on April 16, 1943 in Hartford City, Indiana to the late Marion and Mary (Maxey) Linder.

He graduated from Beavercreek HS in 1961, then went on to UD to obtain an electrical engineering degree. After working at various jobs in his career, he was self-employed the last 27 years. He was always learning and obtained 6 patents during his employment. He mentored high school and college students along the way so they could obtain their degrees.

He was an optimist, proud American, member of the NRA, ARRL, and Aley UMC. He loved being with family and friends.

Larry is survived by his sons, Matt (partner, Lori) and Bryan (Mindy); 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brother, Jerry; and nieces and nephews.

He joins his wife of 58 years in Heaven, Vicki; and he was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don; and sister, Janet.

A visitation for Larry and Vicki will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, OH 45459), with a service beginning at 12:30 pm.
