Larry Hannahs

Larry Hannahs, age 70 of Dayton, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018. He was born October 24, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Everett and Alice Hannahs.

Larry was a member of Destiny Church where he led a small bible study group for several years. As a Christian man, he taught, prayed for, and blessed many people. Larry enjoyed being around people, talking to them about God and never met a stranger.

He was an avid Cincinnati Reds and baseball fan. Larry always enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all his close friends and church family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Larry will be missed by his loving wife, Juanita; sons, Larry Hannahs, Jr. and Christopher (Beverly) Hannahs; daughter, Crystal (Travis) Wilson; 3 grandchildren; sister, Marsha Schmitt and numerous other family members.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 11:00 am at Destiny Church, 4691 Bufort Blvd., Dayton, OH, Pastor Eric Smith, officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial to follow at Willow View Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Larry's memory to the Cancer Center of Dayton.
