Lanora Schreck

Lanora May Schreck, age 69, of Trotwood, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Kettering Health Dayton. She was born on March 3, 1957, in Dayton, Ohio. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Phyllis Gross; her sister, Janet Lambert; and her sister-in-law, Kimberly Gross.

Lanora is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Victor Schreck; her son, Matthew (Jaime) Schreck; her siblings, Valarie (Douglas) Earnest, Paul Gross, and Lisa (John) Amspaugh. She also leaves behind numerous extended family members and dear friends who will cherish her memory.

A graduate of Northmont High School, Lanora pursued a career as a hairdresser, a profession that allowed her to connect with and care for others throughout her life. She enjoyed crafting, playing games, and most of all, spending time with her family. Her kind heart, creativity, and devotion to those she loved will be deeply missed.
