LaDonna I. Borgerding

LaDonna I. Borgerding, born November 25, 1957, in Dayton, OH, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026. A proud graduate of Patterson High School, LaDonna earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Dayton, carrying with her a passion for creativity throughout her life. She was a talented artist, sculptor, potter, ceramicist, and seamstress, known especially for her beautiful quilts made both for loved ones and charitable causes. LaDonna’s art was even displayed at the Art Institute, reflecting her remarkable skill and dedication. As the third of ten children, she was introverted yet always willing to lend a helping hand, altering clothing for big events and offering support to those around her.

LaDonna is lovingly survived by her brothers Joseph F. Borgerding, Harry Edward Borgerding, Lewis A. Borgerding, and Francis P. Borgerding; sisters Sandra J. Borgerding, Gerry L. Lawrence, and Carla J. (James) Fletcher; her boyfriend John D. Tassone; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her sisters Mary Anna Borgerding Dechauntee and Theresa Marie Borgerding, as well as her parents Patricia J. Borgerding and Joseph Frederick Borgerding.
