L. Maxine (Poling) Wright, 86, passed away May 7, 2013. Born in Miami County, OH, November 28, 1926.
Preceded in death by parents, Ray K. and Ruth Poling; loving husband of 65 years, Marshall; brothers, Kenneth, Keith and Kay Poling; sister, Marlene King.
Survived by daughters, Susan (Dr. Maitland) Place and Kathy (Paul) Albright; grandchildren, Ryan Place and Katey Albright; brother, Dr. Kirby (Edith) Poling; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Poling and Louise Wright; as well as nieces and nephews.
Maxine graduated from Stivers High School in 1944 and Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing in 1947. She was part of the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps in WWII. Worked as an RN at Kettering Memorial Hospital from 1964-1983. Longtime member of South Park United Methodist Church.
