Kyle Wallace Johnson, born on March 7, 1971, in Columbus, Ohio, passed away on August 6, 2025, in Riverside, Ohio. He leaves behind a legacy marked by strength, kindness, and an unfaltering sense of humor, attributes that made him beloved by all who knew him.
For 27 years, Kyle dedicated himself to his work at Lewis & Michael Security Storage, where he excelled in electrical maintenance. His commitment to his career was paralleled only by his devotion to his family, which he cherished above all else. As a loving husband to Melissa Johnson for 36 years, he exemplified the qualities of a supportive partner and father.
Kyle was a proud father to Kyle Johnson (Shannon) and Jewell Johnson (Dillon) and doted on his grandchildren, Skyler, baby Kyle, Aria, and Landon. He found immense joy in spending time with his family, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
Alongside his family, Kyle's interests included being a die-hard Bengal's fan, enjoying basketball games, and swimming. His playful spirit and ability to make others laugh truly lit up any room. He was not only a caring brother to his sister, Tina Rhoads, but also a beloved uncle to his niece and nephews: Cierra, Ben, Edward, Joseph, Steven, and Shiann. He also had numerous great-nephews and great-nieces who brought joy to his life.
Kyle was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Donna Rhoads; his sister, Jennifer Stevenson; and his grandfather, Joseph Presutti. Each of these individuals held a special place in his heart and are fondly remembered.
Kyle Wallace Johnson's profound impact on his family and friends, his resilience, and his capacity for love will forever be a guiding light in their lives. His memory will be deeply cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
