Kimberly Kay Schreier, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on October 3, 2025, in Miamisburg, Ohio, at the age of 54. Born on April 24, 1971, in Okinawa, Japan, Kimberly was known for her vibrant personality, characterized by her bubbly laughter and strong will. A true social butterfly, she had a joy for life that resonated with everyone around her.
Family was at the center of Kimberly’s life, and she always prioritized her loved ones above everything else. Her daughters, Brittany Taylor, Brooke Schreier, and Jerilyn Schreier were her pride and joy, and she poured her heart into raising them. In addition to her daughters, Kimberly cherished every moment spent with her grandsons, Bryden and Braxton Taylor, whose bright spirits brought her immeasurable joy.
Kimberly is also survived by her devoted mother, Martha Porterfield, her sister, Heather Warnock, and her significant other, William Kelly. She also leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her warmth and laughter. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Hancock.
Kimberly will be remembered for her love of music and singing, and for the time she devoted to her family and friends. Though the world is a little dimmer without her, her spirit will continue to shine through the many lives she touched.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439. Family and friends may visit from 1:00PM until the time of service.
