Kimberly A. Davenport-Kirksey, 60, passed away on May 26, 2026, surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Davenport, and father, Robert Davenport. She is survived by her husband, Robert Kirksey III; her children, sons Justin Earley (Isis) and Jared Earley (Ally); daughter Shayna Ward (Will); stepdaughters Briana Aguilar, Alexis Newby, Imani Fields, and Tamilyn Hawkins; and her grandchildren (Colten, Jasmine, Addy, Ryilee, Izzy, Taelynn, Jaxon, Willow, Remi, and Taeshawn). Her siblings are Jennie Grote (Tim), Robert Davenport (Karen), and Robin Santalucia (Michael), plus a plethora of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family.

She was born in Xenia, Ohio, on January 29, 1966. Being the third of four kids, she seemed to always carry a natural maternal instinct, always knowing she wanted to do great things in her life, including being a mother. She graduated from CTC in administration. She was able to start a lifelong career at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Initially starting her career at age 17 in civilian personnel, she worked her way up to eventually becoming a Deputy in Human Resources for the Air Force Research Laboratory. She even went a step further during her career by earning her Bachelor's degree in Human Resources from the University of Phoenix. She loved her job and enjoyed helping others. Always going above and beyond for anyone who needed assistance or had a question, she was the true essence of what a civilian government worker should entail.

Finally, retiring in 2024, she was thrilled to enjoy her well-deserved time off. She enjoyed walking, traveling, shopping (especially at Sam's Club), lunch with friends, old coworkers, and family members, watching Good Morning America, and above all, spending time with her family. She loved and adored being a Gigi and always said her life's work was for her kids. She was brave until the end.

To say she will be missed would be an understatement, as she was truly the glue to her family, always checking on friends and family, remembering birthdays and anniversaries, and always being available when you needed her. We love you forever and ever, no matter what, and are so thankful to have been blessed with such an amazing wife, mother, sister, aunt, niece, Gigi, and friend.
