Kimberly Shawn Butts, age 52, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024. She was born on May 10, 1971 in Dayton, OH.
Kim was loving, caring and kind. She loved to laugh and make others happy. She was dedicated, hardworking and loved the Lord. Her greatest joy in life was her grand babies. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her fathers, Darryl Sheets and Fred Butts; her grandparents, Alton Moss, Francis Fannon, Thelma Butts and William Butts.
She is survived by her loving spouse of 30 years, Jerry Powell; her daughter, Breanna (Justin) Hooper; her grandchildren, Raelie Hooper and Dawson Hooper; her mother, Judy Sheets; her sister, Melinda Justice; her brother, Jason Butts and numerous nieces and nephews.
No services will be held at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
The family would like to thank her coworkers and friends at Miami Valley Hospital - Berry Center for their love, kindness and support over the years.
