Kent Venter

Kent Venter, age 85, a beloved husband, father and grandfather, of Englewood, passed away September 18, 2026, after a brief illness. He was born May 31, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Stanley and Winifred Venter. In addition to his parents, Kent was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Joe Swartztrauber; and brother, Steven Venter.

He is survived by his wife, Arline Venter; daughters: Shelley (Eric) Aukerman and April Weeks; grandchildren: Kelby Mixell (Jon), Kinsey Mangen (Troy), Chris Weeks (Ali), Troy Weeks and Zachary Weeks; great-grandchildren: Winnie, Aubrie, Lola and Mack; cousins and friends.

Kent worked for First National Bank and retired from PNC Bank after many years of service. He was a friend of Aullwood Audubon Center and Farm. Kent enjoyed spending his time fishing and going to the casino, especially Las Vegas.

At Kent's request, there will be no service. Contributions may be made in his memory to Aullwood Audubon Center and Farm or a charity of your choice.
