Kenneth E. Riley, born on June 20, 1937, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026, in Beavercreek, Ohio. He lived a life marked by devotion, faith, and a commitment to his family and community.
Ken was a Master Plumber for many years until his retirement, a distinguished career that demonstrated his strong work ethic and skill. Beyond his professional achievements, he was a devoted Christian man who attended Kettering Assembly of God for over 40 years. His passion for Christ was evident in his service to the church as an usher, where he shared his faith and warmth with others.
Outside of his professional and spiritual life, Ken enjoyed a variety of hobbies and interests. He cherished the time spent fishing, hunting, and sitting around the campfire with his family at Indian Lake. These moments reflected his love for nature and the joy he found in nurturing relationships with his loved ones, especially creating a legacy with his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.
Ken’s legacy continues through his children, Sue Baker, Debbie (Patrick) Dove, and Kenny Riley. He adored his grandchildren, each of whom brought immense pride and joy to his life: David (Shannon) Baker, Joshua (Julie) Baker, Elijah (Tracy) Baker, Ricky (Melissa) Dove, Rebecca (Jacob) Hamon, Randy (Heather) Dove, and Brandon Glick. His great-grandchildren, including Joshua, Garrett, Jessica, Trey, Drew, Grant (Brooke) Click, Madison (Will) Bohlman, Eliana Baker, Cooper, Callie, and Colter Hamon, along with Kylah, Adalyn, Samuel, Ethan, Jonah, and Abigail Dove, filled his life with laughter and love. Additionally, he was blessed with great-great-grandchildren, Branson and Giddeon Click.
Ken is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sue (Jamison) Riley, with whom he shared many cherished memories along with his parents, Martin A. and Thelma (Lantis) Riley, his brothers, Martin and William Riley, and his great-granddaughter, Brooke Lauren Baker.
A visitation in celebration of Ken's life will be held on February 14, 2026, from 9:00AM to 10:00AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:00AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Centerville, 820 Miamisburg Centerville Rd, Dayton, OH 45459. Burial will follow at Glen Haven memorial Gardens.
Kenneth E. Riley's presence in our lives will be missed, but his spirit and teachings will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
