Kenneth Paul Florkey

Kenneth Paul Florkey, age 62 of Huber Heights, passed away August 27, 2018. He was born December 20, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard F. Florkey; brother, Mark Florkey; and grandson, Liam Haney.
Ken is survived by his wife of 38 years, Paula Florkey; children: Paula Renee Dixon, Ashley Florkey, Lindsey Florkey and Kenny Florkey; mother, Patricia Florkey; grandsons: Brayden Dixon and Lincoln Haney; many other relatives and friends.
Ken graduated from Chaminade-Julienne Catholic High School, Class of 1974. He retired from Hughes-Peters after many years of service. Ken was an avid Ohio sportsman, enjoyed woodworking and playing euchre. Most of all, Ken loved spending time with his family.
Visitation will be held from 10 am - 12 pm on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Plainview Open Bible Church, 1488 Johnsville-Brookville Road, Brookville, where the funeral service will begin at 12 pm. Pastor Neil Peterson officiating. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Kenneth's memory to the Thomas Hilt Allen Foundation.
