Keegan Rogers, age 24, passed away on January 31. He was born on July 5, 2001, and was the youngest of three sons born to Sam and Krista Rogers.
Keegan graduated from Xenia High School and the Greene County Career Center in 2020. After graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Army as a helicopter electrician. Following his return home from military service, Keegan worked at Spectra Jet, where he was actively working toward his Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license to become a certified aircraft mechanic.
Keegan loved being with his family and never missed a gathering. He was outgoing, gregarious, and full of life—always talking, laughing, and engaging with everyone around him. His humor, warmth, and tenderness were unmistakable, and his presence made moments brighter simply by being there. Those qualities will be deeply missed.
Keegan was preceded in death by his father, Samuel “Sam” S. Rogers; his paternal grandfather, Anthony “Tony” Rogers; his aunt Varina “Rina” Rogers, and his maternal grandmother, June Owens, who passed earlier this January.
He leaves behind his mother, Krista Rogers; his brothers, Max (Jessica) Rogers and Duncan Rogers; his beloved nephews and nieces, Slade, Waylon, Emma, and Georgia; and his paternal grandmother, Sandy Rogers. He also leaves behind his uncles and aunts, Brien (Teri) Owens, Matt (Wendy) Rogers, and Kati (Richard) Halloy, who will miss him deeply. He is remembered by many other family members, cherished friends, coworkers, and Army comrades.
More than anything, Keegan was a believer in Jesus Christ. He knew Him and His Word. His family finds peace in knowing that Keegan is seated at the Father’s table, celebrating his eternal freedom with those who went before him and prepared a place for him.
