Katrina E. Goins

Katrina E. Goins, 51, of New Carlisle, OH, passed away peacefully April 5, 2017. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on December 25, 1965 to Franklin and Adah (Spurlock) Arrowood. She married Charles E. Goins on October 7, 2000 in Dayton, OH. She was a long time survivor of Multiple Sclerosis.

Katrina enjoyed flowers, gardening, big bonfires, and raising her chickens. She was an honorary Kentucky Colonel and was a past board member and treasurer of DARF (Dayton Auto Racing Fan Club). She loved to laugh, had a unique sense of humor and was kind to everyone. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and her family and will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her husband Charles E. Goins; her parents, Franklin D. and Adah (Spurlock) Arrowood; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marvin and Linda Goins; a son, Joseph E. Serrer; a daughter Karly Goins; a sister, Danita Arrowood; a "favorite brother-in-law", Michael Goins; a niece, Cyndi (Jesse) Swafford; three great nephews and numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 1:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory-North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH 45424 with Pastor Glen Sizemore officiating. A visitation will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 pm. Burial will follow at Hillgrove Cemetery, Miamisburg. .
