Kathy Marie Denniston, a beloved wife, mother, and sister, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025, in Huber Heights, Ohio, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on May 2, 1956, in Dayton, Ohio, Kathy lived a life full of warmth, laughter, and compassion that touched everyone lucky enough to know her.
Kathy dedicated herself to the Wright-Patt Credit Union for 47 years, where her easy-going nature and ability to talk to anyone made her a cherished figure among coworkers and clients.
Kathy’s personality was as sweet as they come, filled with humor and an innate caring spirit. She had a unique gift for making people feel welcome, a talent she carried into every aspect of her life. Whether it was chatting with a stranger or encouraging a friend, she brought a sense of comfort wherever she went.
A faithful member of Vandalia Church of the Nazarene, Kathy found joy in her faith. Music was a significant part of her life; she loved southern gospel and country music and often played the piano while lending her voice to the church choir for many years.
Kathy had a passion for travel, enjoying family vacations that created lasting memories. She cherished every adventure from the Holy Land of Jerusalem to the whimsical days spent at Disney.
Kathy loved to play cards and games, bringing a fun competitive edge to countless evenings spent with family and friends. She will be remembered for these simple yet profound moments, filled with laughter.
Kathy leaves behind her beloved husband of 36 years, William "Alan" Denniston; daughter, Chloe Jean Denniston Rankin; son-in-law, Joshua Robert Rankin; sisters, Lois Jean (Roger) Davidson, Diana Lynn (Christopher) Williams, and Dorothea Ann (Dwayne) Porter, along with many nieces and nephews. All of whom loved her and will miss her dearly.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Carol Leonard Euton and Megie Katherine Euton, who will undoubtedly greet her with open arms.
