Kathryn B. Weinkauf

Kathryn B. Weinkauf, age 73, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on May 24, 2023. She was born on July 19, 1949 in Indianapolis, IN, to the late Kenneth and Leone Curtiss. In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by her brothers, Daniel and Timothy Curtiss; and many of her beloved cats and skunks.
Kathe is survived by her husband of 53 years, Michael Weinkauf; children: Alexis Weinkauf, Wendy (Ben) Arnold, Adam Weinkauf; five grandchildren: Chloe, Gabriel, Palin, Czarina, and, Caliope; brother, Bruce Curtiss; and many other family and friends.
Kathe was very proud to be a foster parent, she and Michael shared their home with over 260 children. She enjoyed arts and crafts, especially embroidery and painting, and also playing the flute. Kathe had a love for all animals including her many cats and pet skunks. Her greatest love, however, was her family.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Kathe's name to The St. Vincent De Paul Society.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Corpus Christi Church, 527 Forest Ave, Dayton, OH 45405 from 10:00am to 11:00am. Mass will immediately follow beginning at 11:00am.
