Kathryn Marr

Kathryn M. Marr, age 82, of Dayton, passed away on March 22, 2016. She was born on May 11, 1933, in Stubenville, Ohio, to the late James and Etta (Spicer) Sloan. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Marr, Sr; sisters, Ruby Mae Sloan, Dorothy Monroe and Vernie Leisure; brother Bob Sloan; grandson, Ryan. Kathryn is survived by her loving children, Kay (James) Harris, William T. Marr Jr., Ruthann (Robert) Warnock, Jeannie (Jack) Ramsey, Marlene (Rex) Allen; brother, Jack (Mary) Sloan; grandchildren, Tammy, D.J., Keisha, Michael, Victoria, Freda, Billy, Chris, Alisha, Robby, Cassie, Josh, Saunie, Elonda, Rex, Thomas; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held from 9:00 am to 10:30 am on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home- South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio. Cremation will follow the services.
