Allen, Kathryn Ann, 79, of Kettering, passed away April 4, 2017.
She was born December 18, 1937 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Laurence and Helen (Pence) Deger. Kathryn was a former employee at Carlson Marketing for many years. She was currently employed with Brookdale of Kettering fulfilling many roles in her time there, claiming it was more of a passion than a job.
She is survived by her two daughters, Michelle Brien and Cynthia (Joseph) Freeman; grandchildren, Staci (Daniel), Justin (Ashley), Jessica, Seth, Jacob, Emily, Caroline, and Joseph Jr.; great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Tyler, Harper, and Rayah. She is also survived by her sister, Cynthia (Glenn) Walters; brother, Walter Saylor; the "Birthday Club" girls; lifetime friends, Coral Handy, Patricia Thomas; loyal friend, David ; her Brookdale family, and so many others.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Mallow.
Visitation 4:00pm until 6:00pm Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am Monday, April 10, 2017 at The Church of the Ascension, 2001 Woodman Dr., Kettering, OH 45420. Burial will follow at Polk Grove Cemetery, Vandalia.
