Kathleen Sargent

Kathleen Sargent, age 85 of Dayton, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. She was born August 24, 1938 in Paintsville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Estill and Goldie Powers.

Kathleen worked at Rite-Aid for 30+ years where she formed many friendships. She'll be remembered for her love of animals, and most importantly, her family.

Kathleen is survived by her son, Darrell (Kim) Sargent; granddaughter, Keli (Jacob) Achs; great grandchildren, Tessa and Levi; sister, Linda Singleton; special nephew, Jeff (Cheryl) Adams; as well as numerous loving relatives and many friends.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Windell Sargent; and brother-in-law, William "Bucky" Singleton.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, Dayton, OH 45459). Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Following services, Kathleen will be laid to rest with her husband at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
