Kathleen A. Dimatteo
At rest and peace, living life to the fullest in the arms of Jesus Christ our Lord. Her long journey with dementia ended on the early morning of August, 11, 2017. In her honor, be kind and serve without hope for gain. Love your family sacrificially. Above all, serve the Lord with gladness and sing.
Kathy will be laid to rest at a private burial on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
As hard as it was at times to care for Kathy, harder still was trusting in and depending on someone else to care for her. Symphony at Centerville did just that and more. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Symphony at Centerville, 7383 Paragon Road, Dayton, OH 45459, to benefit those still journeying through memory loss.
The immediate family would like to welcome friends and family to an open house at Kathy's house following the burial on Tuesday, August 15th. Come and go as you please between noon and 6pm. The pool will be open for anyone in attendance to commemorate Kathy's love of swimming.
