Oakes, Karla Kaye, age 33, of Middletown, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2012.
Karla is survived by her daughters: Shyann & Makayela Butler; father: Bobby Joe Oakes Sr.; stepfather: Fred Isham; paternal grandmother: Alberta Oakes; siblings: Curtis (Michelle) Perry, Jody Brown, Randy Isham, Danielle Isham, Melissa Oakes, Bobby Joe Oakes Jr.; and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother: Bobbie J. Isham; maternal grandparents: Paul & Betty Perry; and paternal grandfather: Coleman Oakes.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Karla Kay Oakes Memorial Fund, c/o any PNC Bank location for Karla's daughters.
