Karen L. Williams

Karen L. Williams, age 76 of Vandalia, passed away December 29, 2017. She was born April 25, 1941 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Harry and Donna McSwain. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her brother, Ted McSwain; aunt, Ethel Sturm; husband, Richard "Kenny" Salyer; and in-laws: Harry and Enid Williams.

Karen is survived by her husband, Harry Williams; step-daughter, Stephanie (Mike); brother, Reynold (Mary) McSwain; sisters: Kathryn (Bob) Veatch and Donna (Bill) Colwell; special cousin, Caryl Jean DeHook of Cedar Rapids, IA; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Karen was a former Nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital for 17 years.

Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 pm on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm.
