Karen was much more than her career; she poured her passion into myriad interests. An extraordinary cook, she had the remarkable ability to create delicious meals that brought family and friends together, transforming ordinary gatherings into celebrated feasts. Her talent as an herbalist revealed her deep connection to nature, and she found immense joy and peace in her garden, where she loved to put her hands in the dirt, cultivating life and beauty.

She was the loving wife of William Wallace, with whom she shared a profound partnership filled with love and support. Together, they raised two sons, Larry Elliott and Steven Elliott, who carry on her legacy of compassion and strength. Her granddaughter, Angeleah Elliott, brought Karen immeasurable joy. She raiser her since she was an infant and she took every opportunity to nurture and encourage Aneleah's growing spirit.
Karen was preceded in death by her loving parents, William and Mary Ruth Jones, who instilled in her the values of kindness and nurturing toward others. The love and lessons she received from them were woven into the very fabric of her life. She is also preceded by her brother, Dave Jones whom she was very close to.
