Karen R. Morgan, a cherished soul in the community of Xenia, Ohio, passed away on November 16, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on April 7, 1947, she spent her life brightening the days of those around her with her infectious humor, unwavering generosity, and boundless love.
Raised in Xenia, Karen graduated from Xenia High School, where she began to cultivate the spirit that would define her. Her career in retail at Rink's Department Store and KMart was marked by her impeccable service and genuine connections with customers and colleagues alike, reflecting her commitment to making people feel valued and appreciated.
While her professional life was commendable, it was her family that truly represented her proudest accomplishments. A devoted mother to her sons, William (Pamela Lyle) Morgan and Jeremy Morgan, Karen poured her heart into nurturing and supporting her family. Her legacy continued through her beloved granddaughter, Tori (Greg) Groves, and her great-grandchildren, Addy, Layton, Lydia, and William, who brought immense joy to her life.
Karen was not only a dedicated mother and grandmother but also a treasured sister. She is survived by her brother, Richard (Katherine) Keyer, with whom she shared countless memories and laughter.
Her warmth extended beyond her family; she was a friend to many, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a laugh over crosswords and jigsaw puzzles. Whether she was immersed in her favorite knitting projects or sharing stories with loved ones, Karen’s spirit of giving and kindness left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.
Though she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Morgan, her parents, Richard and Patricia Keyer, and her brother, Dennis Keyer, Karen's spirit continues to resonate in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, laughter, and family will forever be cherished and remembered.
