JW Reding, age 84 of Vandalia, passed away March 19, 2016 at his home. He was born July 14, 1931 in Perry County, KY to the late Joseph W. and Belvia (Gwinn) Reding. In addition to his parents, JW was preceded in death by his brother, Walter Reding.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Loretta (Jones) Reding; daughters, Regina Petill and Belvia (David) Hall; granddaughter, Leandria Hall; sisters-in-law, Gloria Faye Jones, Jo Villamin and Ethel Martinez; brothers-in-law, Bennie Jones and Willis (Anna) Jones; special friend, Jack Prater and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
JW worked and retired from plumbing and was a member of Dayton Plumbers Local 162. He served our country during the Korean War as a member of the U.S. Army Infantry. JW was Mason and Shriner for over 20 years.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
