Justin D. Neal, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on November 7, 2025. He was known as a Jack of all trades and was often referred to as the "Great Mr. Fix it." Justin was always the first to help anyone in need, showing a spirit of kindness and selflessness. He loved his job and excelled at his work, taking pride in every task he undertook.
Justin was a vibrant soul, loved by everyone who met him. He lived each day to the fullest, with a quick wit that often brought humor to those around him. He had a remarkable way with words and was known for giving the best nicknames. Friends affectionately called him 'buddy,' 'Jimmy,' 'James,' 'Frankie,' 'Justanna,' and 'brother,' but his favorite name was 'Uncle Jus.'
He enjoyed shooting pool, throwing darts, and grabbing dinner and drinks at Carmichael's Pub. He loved spending time at home playing games and Mario Kart, celebrating the Rams' Super Bowl victories, and cheering on the Buckeyes. Above all, he cherished moments spent with his loved ones. Justin had a soft spot for animals, especially dogs, and he valued his time with his beloved pets: Angel Bird, Foxie, Smoke, and Belly Roll.
Justin leaves behind his father, Cassius Neal; grandmother, Rethia Gooch; brothers, Jason and Travis Neal; sister, Natalie (Jeremy) Perdue; nieces, Brittney (Izzak) Chandler, Skylar Neal, Elexes Neal, Kali (Austin) Terrell, and Paisley Neal; nephews, Jayden Neal and Alex Neal; great nieces and nephews, Jaxon, Joleigh, Lorelei, Mabel, and Aspen; cousins, Dave Alexander, Lynn Boyd, Manda Boyd, Crystal Neal, and Nicole Neal; second cousin, Addison Alexander; aunts, Sandra Holmes and Martha (Gary) Boyd; uncles, Jerry Neal, Charlie Neal, and Leonard Neal; along with numerous extended family members and friends.
Justin was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda (McKinley) Neal; grandparents, Dave and Betty McKinley; and uncles, Doug Holmes and Grady Boyd.
A visitation will be held on November 13, 2025 from 8:30AM to 10:30AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:30AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, Ohio 45424. Justin will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Carmicheal’s Pub on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 11:00AM.
Justin's spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched, and he will be remembered for his generous soul, laughter, and love.
