June W. Nicklaus, age 90 of Huber Heights, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017. She was born August 25, 1926 in Crestline, Ohio to the late William and Lois (Kightlinger) Gehrisch.
Also preceding her in death, husband, Frederick "Fritz" Nicklaus; son, Jim Nicklaus; daughter, Judy Howell and sister, Ruth (John) Luscaleet.
June is survived by her daughter, Sue "Dee Dee" Beach; grandchildren, Jon (Elena) Havens, Amy (Brian) Bee, Stephanie (David) Moore; Chris, Jason, Megan and Madison Nicklaus; and Todd Daws; daughter-in-law, Laurie Nicklaus and son-in-law, James Howell; 7 great grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
She was a member of Sulpher Grove UMC, a life member of VFW Aux. #3283, Charter member of MOCA #83 and past member of American Legion Aux. #200.
Memorial services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Sulpher Grove United Methodist Church, 7505 Taylorsville Rd., Huber Heights with Pastor Dan Held, officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the time of service.
