Listen to Obituary

Julie C. Lance, age 50, passed away unexpectedly at home on May 25, 2026, due to a sudden medical event. Julie bravely struggled with multiple medical challenges. We take deep comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and free from pain.

Julie was a graduate of Sinclair College, graduating magna cum laude, and RETS College earning CMA certification.  Julie possessed a unique and unforgettable spirit, with a deep, lifelong love for anything that sparkles. She was a gifted performer who truly loved to sing. Often found singing karaoke, she was incredibly talented, knowing exactly how to command the microphone and bring a smile to everyone listening. Some of her happiest moments were spent singing duets with her father. Throughout her life, he was a steady guide, loving her deeply through all of her complexities.

Beyond her love for music, Julie had a deep affection for animals. She possessed an amazing ability to find four-leaf clovers—a unique talent she shared with her mother. Even if she was having a tough day, she would give them to anyone she thought needed a little bit of extra love, luck or a reason to smile.

Above all else, Julie’s heart belonged to her beloved little dog, Maya. Maya was her constant companion, her shadow, and a source of pure, unconditional comfort and light in her life.

Julie is survived by her parents, James and Darlene Lance currently of York, PA, originally of Centerville OH, and her sister, Angela Lance along with an extended family and friends who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Julie’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM, at Mt Zion Park Cemetery, 27 South Fairfield Road, Beavercreek, Ohio, 45440.
