Julia Ann Grizzle went home to be with the Lord on Sunday Sept 14, 2025. She was born on Feb 5, 1953 in Corbin, Kentucky. Julia is survived by her husband of 55 years, Billy John Grizzle Sr., their children Lisa Seebach, Billy (Michel) Grizzle Jr., Joe (Stephanie) Grizzle; 7 grandchildren Brooke (Nick) Stalter, Austin Seebach, Alex (Kaitlin) Grizzle, Derek Grizzle, Natalie Grizzle, Christina Seebach, and Joshua Seebach; 2 great grandchildren Charlotte Hoskins and a baby boy due in January 2026.
Julia is also survived by sisters Joy Caldwell, Donna Hogg, Betty (Rich) Lookabaugh; brother Bill (Bobbie) Hogg; brother in law Dink Grizzle; sisters in law Charlotte Hathcock, Nancy (Randy) Thomas and Vickie Atchley as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
She was proceeded in death by her mother Betty Price-Ware; step father Ronald Ware, son in law Steve Seebach, sisters Janet Hogg and Gail Trout, brothers in law Melvin "Skeeter" Grizzle, Dub Grizzle, Ray Grizzle, Dean Files and Joe Atchley; sisters in law Nora Mae Files, Marcella Robinson and Jewell Elledge.
Julia was a loving, caring and giving person who loved God and her family with all of her heart. She was always there for you when needed, even when she wasn't feeling well. Her greatest joy was her family and spending time with her grandkids. She was an amazing mother and mamaw and it brought her great joy. She was very excited to become a great grandma.
Julia was always a hard worker. She worked many years at Alphabet Embroidery and loved her real estate career at WebMLS, HER Realty and Howard Hanna.
Julia was a faithful member of Grace Community Church / Declare the Works Ministries for more than 57 years. She served God in praise and worship ministry, teaching, mentoring, cleaning, babysitting and anything else that was needed.
She battled cancer for more than 24 years. She was a fighter who never gave up. We will miss her dearly but she will live on in our hearts forever. Julia has run the race and finished well.
Public visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd.) on Monday September 22, 2025 at 9:30 am with funeral service to follow at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
