Judy Grooms

Judith L. Grooms, 84, of Dayton, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on December 27, 2025. 

Judy is survived by her sons, Tony Grooms and Jeff Grooms (Vickie), grandson, Jeffrey Grooms Jr. and brother, John Applegate (Kathy), nieces and nephews, Debbie Brewer (Tony Yake), Anne Brewer, Bill Baker (Robine) Carrie Edwards, Larry Edwards, Tonya Bell (Dan), Tom Moore (Debbie), Tim Moore (Toni), Linda Boggs (Bob), Jessie Applegate, John Applegate Jr. (Lindsey), Rick Millward, Diana Gadberry (Randy), Anita Rednour (Danny), Butch Millward (Virginia), Brian Millward, and great nieces, Candy Bartunek (Bryan) and Amber Winegars (Eric), and many more great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Woodland Hills Baptist Church, 6020 Foster Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45414, on Saturday, January 24, 2026. Visitation hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a service following at 1:00 p.m.
