Juan Rosales Rueda

Juan Rosales Rueda, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on January 5, 1949, in Michoacan, Mexico, Juan was a happy and friendly individual whose essence brought joy to everyone around him.

Juan's life was a tapestry woven with love for music—particularly Mexican and ranchera tunes—and cherished moments spent with his family. As a devoted parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church, he found solace and community in his faith, nurturing connections that enriched his life.

Juan was a doting father to David Guzman, Juana Vazquez, Maria Carmen San Juan, Baruch Daniel Rosales, and Juan Jose Rosales, taking great pride in their accomplishments and the lives they built. His heart expanded further with the arrival of his 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, who filled his days with laughter and love.

In addition to his nurturing role as a father and grandfather, Juan was blessed with a large family, including two sisters and seven brothers, who shared fond memories and laughter with him throughout the years. His warm spirit created a close-knit bond with many other loving relatives and friends, who will forever hold him in their hearts.

Though Juan has reunited with those he lost, including his parents, Juan Rosales and Esther Rueda, and his beloved wife of 36 years, Josefina Rosales, along with a brother who has gone before him, his memory is destined to live on through the love and laughter he gifted to this world. Juan Rosales Rueda will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his joyous spirit will remain a beacon of light in the lives he touched.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 5-8pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 15th at 11:00am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 310 Allen St, Dayton, OH 45410. Juan will be laid to rest with his wife, Josefina at Willow View Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
