JT Byrd, age 72 of Dayton, passed away December 4, 2015. He was born January 9, 1943 in Manchester, KY to the late Owen and Bitha (Sawyers) Byrd. In addition to his parents, JT was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis; son, Brian; infant daughter; sisters, Mary Henderson, Kathleen Smith and Dorothy Mae Buckheart.
He is survived by grandson, Todd Byrd; sisters, Delores (Clarence) Smith and Imogen (James) Smith; brothers, Conley Byrd and Owen Wayne Byrd; friend, Cory and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
JT was an avid fan of the Kentucky Wildcats.
He is survived by grandson, Todd Byrd; sisters, Delores (Clarence) Smith and Imogen (James) Smith; brothers, Conley Byrd and Owen Wayne Byrd; friend, Cory and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
