JT Billingsley, age 92 of Beavercreek, OH passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at home. He was born April 25, 1929 in Pikeville, Tennessee to Patrick and Abby (Lawson) Billingsley. He married Louise Rhea on August 5, 1952 in Rossville, Georgia.
JT was a Beavercreek Volunteer Firefighter at Station Number 4 and a member of Beavercreek Eagles. He was a beekeeper and a member of the Beekeeper's Association for many years. JT was a truck driver F.W. Lotz paper company retiring from there after 30 plus years. He enjoyed woodworking and vegetable gardening. JT loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
JT is survived by his wife of 69 years, Louise; daughters, Linda (Pete) Cheadle and Becky (Don) Sottoway; five grandchildren, Chris Cheadle, Sara (Tony) Beiring, Ginger (Stephen) Kronenthal, Mandy (Adam) Heid and Allison (Cory) Adams; twelve great grandchildren, Jack, Ava, Alexis, Xander, Darian, Kaylee, Makaylin, Isabella, Luke, Jacob, Noah and Owen; and many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and two brothers.
Memorial contributions can be made in JT's name to Ohio's Hospice (Hospice of Dayton), 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH, 45420.
Private services will be conducted at the convenience of the family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
