Joyce M. Solis

Joyce M. Solis, age 79 of Huber Heights, passed away April 12, 2017 at her residence. She was born July 25, 1937 in Drakesboro, KY to the late Boyd and Hazel Hardin. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her daughter, Carmen Solis; son, Wayne Solis; brothers, Tom, Dale and Paul Hardin.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Vincent Solis; daughter, Darlene Solis; grandchildren, Colin Solis, Keisha Perez and Brittany Kunkleman; brothers, Wayne (Carroll), Barry, Montie and Victor Hardin; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Joyce worked for Northwest National Bank later known as LaSalle Bank in Chicago. She was a faithful wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Joyce attended and was a member of Huber Heights 1st Baptist Church. She had a heart of gold and loved her family. Last but not least she loved and adored her cat, Tinker.

Family will receive friends from 5-6 PM on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Huber Heights 1st Baptist Church, 5875 Shull Rd. where a funeral service will begin at 6 PM with Pastor Robert Hooker officiating. .
