Joyce M. Mowen

Joyce M. Mowen, age 85 of Tipp City, passed away February 9, 2017. She was born July 31, 1931 in Rockwood, TN to the late Elmer and Anna McCuistion. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L. Mowen; sister-in-law, Othel McCuistion; and brother-in-law, Howard Tuggle.

Joyce is survived by her son, Bart (Crystal) Mowen; grandchildren: Nashley Mowen and Samantha Mowen; sister, Betty Tuggle; brother, James McCuistion; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including special friend, Carol.

Joyce was an employee at Ohio Bell for 18 years of service. She was a very charitable woman especially when it concerned animals.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
