Joyce V. Craddock, affectionately known as MiMi, passed away on July 29, 2025, in Troy, Ohio, at the age of 88. Born on May 28, 1937, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Joyce was a vibrant individual whose beauty and personality left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Joyce was characterized by her generosity, warmth, independence, and a lively spirit that was undeniably sassy. Her passions included tending to her beloved flowers, immersing herself in books, and cherishing moments spent with her close friends.
She is survived by her loving children, daughter Tara (Gary) Cox and son Jerry Craddock, Jr. Joyce's legacy continues through her grandchildren: Matthew Jay (Leanna) Cox, Matthew Lee Cox, Troy (Lisa) Cox, Brooklyn (Katie) McMylar, and Brandon (Meredith) Beam, as well as her great-grandchildren Wyatt, Hazel, and William. Additionally, she is deeply missed by her sister, Paulette ( Bob) Marquitz, and a host of numerous extended family members and friends who cherished her presence.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Virginia (Jolly) Schuster; her siblings, Darlene Alexander, William Schuster, and Robert Schuster; and her devoted husband of 61 years, Jerry D. Craddock. Her family takes solace in the love and memories shared, and Joyce will forever remain in their hearts.
Joyce’s life was a testament to living fully and beautifully, leaving a legacy of love and kindness that will carry on in the lives she touched.
