Joshua Steven Taylor

Joshua Steven Taylor, age 45 of Dayton, passed away Friday, May 30, 2025. He was born September 13, 1979 in Kettering, Ohio the son of Steven Taylor and Theresa Domsher.

Josh graduated from Belmont High School in the class of 1998. His love for building encouraged him to become a Journeyman Carpenter through the Carpenter's Union and later on start his own business, Honorable Construction. He was a devout Christian with a strong faith in God. Josh will be remembered for his youthful spirit, fun outlook on life and his ability to make friends everywhere he went. He had a way with his words and touch that always made others feel loved and supported. In his spare time, Josh enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, tinkering with projects and sharing his passions with his family.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob & Dorothea Coder and Bill & Helen Taylor; mother-in-law, Bonnie Bort.

Josh is survived by his wife, Jennifer; daughter, Kaylee (Michael) Clark; granddaughters, Lucy and Macie; father, Steven Taylor; mother, Theresa (Gary) Domsher; siblings, Heather (Allantè) Johnson-Taylor, Erin Domsher and Byron Domsher; nieces and nephews, Caleb Neal, Julia Neal, Amari Johnson-Taylor, Kelsey Domsher, Kiara Henderson; father and mother-in-law, Michael & Vickie Fair; father-in-law, Ralph Bort; as well as a host of other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to make a memorial contribution to the ministry of your choice in Josh's memory.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a service to follow at 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
