Joshua Michael Barnett

Joshua Michael Barnett "Josh", age 33 of Dayton, passed away June 26, 2016. He was born September 30, 1982 in Dayton. Josh was preceded in death by his grandparents: JoAnn Lairmore and Harold Barnett; brother, Nicholas McConnaughey; and uncle, Bill Tyler.
Josh is survived by his parents: John (Kathy) Barnett and Debbie Thomas; grandmother, Evelyn Barnett; son, Alex Barnett; brothers: Eli (Molly) Shackleford, Justin Barnett and Sam Wampler; sister, Victoria McConnaughey; aunt, Sue Tyler; and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Josh was a member of the FOA; he was a great cook and had a wonderful sense of humor. Josh loved sports and had many friends. He loved life! Josh will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Friday, July 1, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where a funeral service will begin at 7:00 pm. Contributions may be made in Josh's memory to the FOA, 425 North Findlay Street, Dayton, Ohio 45404.
