Josephine M. Kaminski "Jojo"

Josephine M. Kaminski "Jojo", age 65 of Fairborn, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026. She was born September 14, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her father, Walter Kaminski; mother, Evelyn Kaminski; sisters, Joann and Janet Kaminski; father of her children, David Bogart; and significant other, John Allshouse.

Jojo is survived by her children, Stephen (Brenda) Kaminski, David (Katie) Bogart, Audrey (Chris) Kaminski; grandchildren, Taylor, Brayden, Zachary, Devon, David, and Alexis; great-great grandchildren, Claus and Hazel; siblings, Robert, Frank, and Gail; niece, Andrea; great-nephew, Alan (Mattie); great-great niece, Evelyn. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.

She attended Kiser Middle School in Dayton and went on to complete her GED. Jojo worked as a caterer alongside her mother. She enjoyed coloring, painting, doing puzzles, and journaling. She will be fondly remembered for the simple pleasures she enjoyed, such as watching soap operas alongside a good cup of coffee, a cold Pepsi, and a cigarette. Above all else, Jojo's greatest joy was her family. She took immense pride in being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and cherished every moment spent caring for her grandchildren and helping to raise them. Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and the comfort of her famous cabbage rolls and fried chicken, which she lovingly prepared for family gatherings. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
