Joseph Wade Allen III

Joseph Wade Allen III, age 68 of Xenia, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026 at Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He was born May 4, 1958 in Jamestown, Ohio. The son of Joseph Allen and Sonja Allen.

Joseph was the oldest of seven children who would never let them forget it. He was a life long student who always wanted to learn new things. In his free time, he enjoyed listening to music, Wednesday Bible Study, and watching the New England Patriots. Joseph will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Wade Allen Jr.; mother, Sonja Allen; brother, Gerald "Jerry" Allen.

Joseph is survived by his five siblings, April (Marcus) Sloan, Mindy Allen, Angela Pridemore, Stephen W. (Karen) Allen and Eric Allen; aunt, Vickie Bell, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Joseph will be laid to rest by his mother at Silver Creek Cemetery on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 3:00 pm.
