Joseph Michael Reeves

Joseph Michael Reeves, of Xenia, passed away September 24, 2025 at the age of 70.

A Xenia native, Joe was born on December 15, 1954 and became a friendly face known around town, frequently heard whistling his favorite songs of the day or having a laugh with friends at The Eagles.

Joe graduated from Xenia High School in 1973, and worked a series of skilled trade jobs, his favorite being his time spent working for the railroad.

Joe was a fun-loving character who enjoyed his time spent fishing, camping, and watching football (Go Bengals!). Joe was a loving father, a playful brother, and a warm-hearted friend who brought a smile to all with his boisterous laugh.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents Marge and Sherman Reeves, and sister Carolyn McNamee (Jerry).

He is survived by his son JJ Parkey (James); siblings and their partners, Linda Reeves, Debbie Guthrie (Steve), John Reeves (Patty), Joyce Lewis (Billy), and Becky Reeves (Joe Kitchen); 21 nieces and nephews, as well as numerous other grandnieces and grandnephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00pm-8:00pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles (682 W 2nd St., Xenia, OH 45385) on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
