Joseph J. Perisie

Joseph John Perisie, known to many as Joe, passed away suddenly on September 12, 2026, in Dayton, Ohio. He was born on October 11, 1974, at Wurtsmith Air Force Base in Michigan.

Joe graduated from Stebbins High School and went on to work at Goodwill for many years. He was known as a loving and kind man who was also detail oriented in the way he lived and related to others.

He found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. Joe enjoyed cooking, watching movies, and playing cards with his wife, Mary. He also enjoyed playing PC video games with his brother, Jon. These everyday moments brought him joy and created lasting memories for those who shared them with him.

Above all, Joe will be remembered for the love he gave to the people around him and for his gentle, caring nature. He will be dearly missed.

Joe is survived by his wife, Mary Wetherholt, and by his brother, Jon Perisie. He was preceded in death by his father, Steve Perisie, and his mother, Kim Perisie.

Those who knew Joe will remember a man of warmth, kindness, and quiet devotion. His memory will remain close in the hearts of his family and friends.
