Joseph Anthony Goldick, affectionately known as "Joe," passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 59. Born on October 18, 1965, Joe was a man whose vibrant spirit and generosity touched the lives of everyone he met. He was not just a skilled contractor and roofer, dedicating his talents to working on houses, but also a beloved prankster who brought joy and laughter to countless friends and family members.
Joe’s personality was as dynamic as his artistic pursuits. A passionate artist, he captured the beauty of the world around him through his drawings and paintings. Joe loved music, especially Rock 'N Roll. Everyone knew that his #1 band was The Rolling Stones. He idolized Mick Jagger, so much so that when singing their songs, he had "the moves like Jagger". He had a deep love for nature, often bringing his beloved dogs, Axel and Salvar Goldick, along with their doggy siblings, Prinny and Buddy, to the park for joyful adventures. His enthusiasm for life was infectious; he was full of life and always found a way to lighten the mood with a well-timed joke.
Family was everything to Joe. He was especially devoted to his mother, Anita J. (Charles) Good, always willing to lend a helping hand with repairs and projects for those he loved. Throughout his life, he maintained close ties with his siblings: Jimmy Goldick, Christine (Randy) Hedrick, Deborah Pearson, and Jerry "Tiny" (Judy) Goldick. He also cherished his role as a godfather to April Moore, demonstrating his commitment to family and his desire to nurture the next generation.
Joe's warm presence will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends, all of whom he impacted in profound ways. His legacy of laughter, kindness, and hard work will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Preceding him in death were his father, John C. Goldick Sr.; his brother, John C. "Batman" Goldick Jr.; his sister, Cynthia J. Goldick (Smith); his niece, Amy Moore-Anderson; his brothers-in-law, Gary Pearson and Mike Smith; and long-time friend (brother), Steve "no cheese" Sparkman Sr.. Their memories will remain intertwined with Joe’s, and he will surely be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend.
Joe leaves behind a legacy that celebrates the joy of life, the importance of family, and the beauty of laughter, reminding us all to take a moment to appreciate the world around us.
