Joseph Curtis Fox

Joseph Curtis Fox, known to many as Joe, passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 44.

Born on February 17, 1982, Joe was a 2001 graduate of Miamisburg High School and also attended CTC. He worked at Baker Tree Services LLC, a job he truly loved and took pride in.

Joe found peace and joy in the outdoors. He enjoyed being outside and was often found early in the morning chopping wood. He also loved to hunt and had a special affection for animals, especially the dogs he had throughout his life. Those who knew Joe will remember his big heart, his generosity, and the way he was always trying to help others. He was a very giving man whose kindness touched many.

He is survived by his mother, Debbie Fox, and his father, Douglas Fox; his brother, Joshua Fox (Amber); his sister Elizabeth Fox Carrico (Michael); his nieces and nephews, Taylor, Aiden, William, Dylan, and Aislyn; his uncle Dana and aunt Angie; his cousins, Christopher, Ryan, and Lindsay; and his best friends, Tony Tyree, Harley Pennington and Elbert Pennington Jr. His memory is also carried by many more loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl Fox and Jean Fox, as well as his great-aunts and great-uncles, including his great-uncle Curtis Fox, for whom he was named.

Joe will be remembered with love for his caring nature, his strong work ethic, and the happiness he found in the simple gifts of the outdoors. His memory will remain in the hearts of his family and all who knew him.

Family and friends are welcome to come to a visitation on Saturday, October 31st, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Parkview Methodist Church, 3713 Benner Rd., in Miamisburg. A memorial service will begin at 1:00pm.
