Josefine Bradley

Josefine (Melchert) Bradley, age 82, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Jerry; her parents, Christian and Anna (Mullins) Melchert; as well as her sister and brother-in-law, Renate (Melchert) and Hubert Schmitz of Orenhofen, Germany.

She is survived by her children, Heike and Mark (Amber); grandchildren, Joshua, Danielle, Kaitlin (Corey) and Conner; great-grandchildren, Alexander, Sawyer and Carson; as well as her family in Germany-Petra (Klaus) and Uwe (Barbel) Schmitz, Anna, Annika and Joschka of Orenhofen; she is also survived by a sister-in-law, cousins and nieces and nephews in Michigan.

Josefine was born prematurely to Christian and Anna Mullins Melchert on 3/19/1943 in Orenhofen, Germany.

She married the love of her life, Jerry Addison Bradley from Pt. Huron, Michigan on July 10, 1963 in Orenhofen, Germany.

In addition to being a military wife, throughout her life, she was a teachers-aide, a bus aide and an employee of Fairborn City Schools as a bus driver

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek).
