Johnie Jemmerson Warden, age 74, of Dayton, passed away December 11, 2025. Johnie was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 2, 1951 and raised for many years in Livingston, Tennessee.

Johnie was a successful owner/operator of his own trucking company for many years, he made many life-long friends as a result of his work in the industry. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy.
His greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren—watching and coaching their sports, cheering them on from the sidelines, and sharing countless laughs along the way. He loved playing guitar with his son and grandson, creating music and memories that will live on in their hearts. Always the first to lend a helping hand, he could fix just about anything and was quick to help family and friends with any project or repair.
Music was a constant thread throughout his life. From playing guitar in the U.S. Navy band to performing with southern rock and country groups, and later jamming at family gatherings, his love of music brought people together and created countless special memories that will never be forgotten.
