Maxine Johnette (Engle) Tipton.
Johnette was born in Dayton on January 3, 1961 to the late William H. "Shorty" Engle and the late Janice K. Engle-Schulz (Marlow). She fought a long battle with health issues that was finally won on March 19, 2016 when she went home to heaven.
She was preceded in death by her mom and dad, cherished in-laws Jessie and Anna Tipton, brother Mike, and her grandparents.
She left to treasure her memory her husband of 32 years Eric, her daughter Erica Lawson, grandchildren Georges and Emmalin Lawson, her sisters Susan Fittro (Ken) and Joann Vaughn, brothers-in-law David (Karen) Tipton, Mark (Debbie) Tipton, sister-in-law Tammy (Mike) Kihn, numerous nephews, nieces and cousins, special aunts Cuemyle Hale and Jewel Daley, her church family, and a multitude of friends.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday at Christian Chapel Church, 95 E. Ginghamsburg Road, Tipp City.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Johnette's memory to www.DonateLifeOhio.org.
