John P. Watts, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on October 7, 1946, John dedicated many years of his life to General Motors before retiring, where he was a proud member of the Local 755 Union.
Known for his dry sense of humor, John had a unique ability to bring a smile to those around him, with wit that will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was particularly passionate about watching football, with a deep-rooted loyalty to Ohio State, and he found joy in the simple pleasures of being at home with his wife.
John is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret "Ann" Watts, with whom he shared 48 years. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Kyle (Nina) Little; sister-in-law, Norma (Joe) Kimmel; cousin, Cindy (Ken) Thompson; and many special friends including, Jim (Claudia) Frantz and Howard (Phillis) Ward.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Watts; mother, Elizabeth Hull; stepfather, Hershel Hull; stepmother, Mae Watts; and brother, David Watts.
John's legacy will continue to live on through the memories cherished by his family and friends. His presence will be missed, yet his spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those who loved him.
