Listen to Obituary

John Miller, a man of many talents and an even bigger heart, passed away on December 18, 2025, in Ohio at the age of 62. Born on August 22, 1963, in Pennsylvania, John was known for his work ethic and dedication across various fields, including truck driving, sheet metal work, welding, and proudly serving as a Retired United States Army Staff Sergeant.

After graduating from Wayne High School, John didn't just take on jobs; he mastered them. He was often described as a smartass with a quick wit, possessing an endless supply of humor that could uplift anyone's spirits. His honest and straight-to-the-point way of speaking made him a trusted friend to many. John was generous, kind-hearted, and incredibly knowledgeable, with a remarkable ability to build anything you could think of.

In his life, John had many hobbies that brought him joy. He loved riding his motorcycle and spending time traveling. One of his favorite pastimes was working on cars alongside his son, sharing a bond that's hard to put into words. His loyal dog, Echo, was always by his side, bringing love and companionship.

John leaves behind a loving family who will remember him fondly. His children, Kristina Miller, Michael (Ashley) Miller, Crystal Miller, and Heather (Shane) Davis, continue to cherish the lessons he taught them. His legacy shines through his grandchildren: Khloe, Aiden, Cheyenne, Kairos, Skailynn, Layla, Lilly, Brooklyn, and Bentley. He is also survived by his devoted mother, Evelyn Miller, and his siblings: Martha, Marielle, Doris, DD, Jackie, and William. Furthermore, he leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were fortunate enough to know him.

John is preceded in death by his father, Cordes Miller, and his son, Benjamin Miller. He is also remembered by his late siblings, Gale (Jeff) Leiter and Jimmy Miller.

John Miller will be missed, but his spirit and the laughter he brought into the lives of those around him will live on in their hearts.
